    REVIEW: Fable III

As a Peter Molyneux project, Fable III is immediately the greatest thing since sliced bread. Or so Mr. Molyneux would have you think. The master of hyperbole has once again set expectations incredibly high for his latest tale of adventure and morality. While never quite living up to Peter's word-weaving (that would be impossible), the series has always been a solid adventure, and an enjoyable RPG-lite. Does Fable III build upon its predecessors and become the wise, prosperous king? Or does it sour the townsfolk, leading to its untimely overthrow and execution?

    PREVIEW: Killzone 3

The following is an account of my time spent with PlayStation's very own Halo-killer, Killzone 3. Does Guerrilla Games' latest impress, or does its orange-tinted Helghast goggles obscure its vision of greatness?

    Futuristic Cybernetic Assassin's Cameo

Oops, look like someone got Raiden in my Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

An eye for an eye, and with former Assassin's Creed hero Altair appearing in Konami's Metal Gear Solid 4, it's only right to get even by throwing Metal Gear's own assassin into the world of Brotherhood. Raiden looks to be nothing more than an unlockable skin for Ezio, so don't hold your breath for unique skills and animations. Regardless, it'll be awesome tearing Rome's Borgia a new one with Raiden while patiently waiting for news on his upcoming title, Metal Gear Solid: Rising.

Infinity Blade Coming to iOS This Holiday Season

Epic Games and ChAIR Entertainment have announced that their mobile title for iOS, previously known as Project Sword, will release this holiday season under the finalized title of Infinity Blade

The sword and shield, castle-faring, full 3D action RPG looks like it's raising the bar on iOS graphics. Powered by Unreal Engine 3, Infinity Blade is said to feature an intuitive combat interface and simple touch controls.

Aside from the campaign mode, which features fun, furious, adrenaline-fueled sword battles, and large scale boss fights, players will gain experience, level their stats, and find more powerful items and weapons as they battle on. Free content will be added after the game's launch, which will add multiplayer and Game Center support amongst other things.

There's no denying the graphics are amazing, but the controls on the iPhone's screen are what truly worries me. Sure the exploration of Epic Citadel felt intuitive, but once you throw in sword fighting and possible spell-weaving, things become infinitely more complex.

No exact release date or price has been announced yet, but keep it locked for more Infinity Blade news as it surfaces.

    REVIEW: Rock Band 3

They say the music game is dying. That it's a stale genre with no innovation, that it's all been done and there are no further mountains to climb. Indie artists are more than willing to implement their work into music games, but most of the popular and iconic musicians are still wary. Songs and albums are too expensive, especially since you can only listen to them in game, as you play them. With the odds against them, Harmonix releases the third entry in the genre-leading Rock Band series, in an attempt to save the plastic instruments.

    Mike Freakin' Haggar

Capcom you clever bastards. Slipping a tease of your next Marvel vs. Capcom 3 character in the company Halloween party pictures. Easter Eggs, in the real world kid. That's one reason why the folks at Capcom get it right.

Aside from the peculiarly creepy costume this dude is wearing, oh hai Mike Haggar. Retired professional wrestler, vigilante, mayor. One of Capcom's most awesome characters, now ready to toss is up in MvC3. Dibs!

Get Over Here, Watch Scorpion Break Faces

Initial looks at the latest Mortal Kombat installment have been pretty impressive. Now, NetherRealm Studios wants you to get reacquainted with the fan favorite, Scorpion. So enjoy one minute of Ol' White Eyes putting the beat on various characters, culminating in some X-Ray views of Kung Lao's skeletal structure turning into a bag of Doritos Bone Chips.

Black Ops is Just a Week Away, is Just a Week Away

Technically maybe a little more than week, but regardless! Here is an awesome trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops set to the sounds of The Rolling Stones' Gimme Shelter. I'll need shelter alright, to play Black Ops uninterrupted in 8 hour sessions at a time. That's what I'm talking about!

If the sights and the sound of the following trailer aren't enough to ruffle your feathers, check your pulse. If you are indeed alive, then maybe you just need something a bit more extreme to stimulate your senses. How about this: Black Ops' zombie mode will allow the players to control John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Fidel Castro, and Robert McNamara. This foursome may even one up Left 4 Dead 3's rumored Midnight Riders. Also, dibs on Castro.

Head over to Kotaku for a Dead Ops spoileriffic intro and some gameplay.

    Retro Sountrack Rampage!

You know about Retro City Rampage, right? If you don't then you should promptly kick yourself in the ass, but not until you get yourself up to speed.

The old-school homage-fest has released a 10 minute music sampler, chock full of fun, hilarious, and oddly familiar scenes from the game itself. The soundtrack is composed by chiptune pros virt, Norrin Radd, and Freaky DNA. With the rise of the indy game, and the chiptunes reclaiming some of their former glory of late, let this sampler be music to your ears.

And because you might not have to time or patience to sit through one video for more than 30 seconds, you can download the mixtape, as well as the theme song, right here. That way you can listen to it on your own accord. Everyone wins!
